"MUSICAL FOREGROUND"

In August 1997 I moved to London to further my musical career, also to involve myself and feed off the inspiration that the London music scene has on offer.

I have done numerous sessions with amongst others the very multitalented Paul Murray,  bassist/composer Paul Downing and singer Paula Davis. If your name starts with a P then i'm your man! 

I have also played alongside members of Robbie Williams, Ainsley Lister, Deacon Blue, Paul Weller, the Stylistics, Martin Taylor and Napalm Death! (yes really!!!!).

Until 2004 I lectured for Watford college where I lectured in Guitar and music history and being a senior course tutor I got to do lots of important stuff! After a wee Eurpoean tour I started teaching for Bedfordshire Music in various schools and rockschools around the county. I have since given up teaching to concentrate on playing although I still do occasional master classes up and down the country.  

Bandswise I am currently playing Guitar in "The Guilty Party" a 9 piece function band which plays mainly in the Surrey/Berkshire area of the UK. I play guitar and Midi guitar for the U2 tribute band FU2K. I can also be seen "depping" in other function and jazz bands when the planets are in the correct alignment.

 I also play (just guitar) with jazz fusioneers Curfew, who let me play nice big chords and take long solos. There is a new CD out called "Hold the front Page" which will be available from the Curfew website.
